The RFI CDQ29 marine antenna whip operates within the 156-163 MHz frequency range and offers a 3dBi gain for enhanced signal strength. It features a robust white fiberglass radome and uses the proven Q-Fit system for easy installation on CDQ marine bases. This antenna is designed to withstand harsh marine environments The antenna is an elevated broad band center fed dipole making the constructed using highly repeatable via co-planar PCB technology. The PCB is housed in a robust fibreglass radome using our proven Q-Fit® interface allowing for easy fitment on various marine CDQ bases. It is DC grounded through integral shunt matching for protection from lightning and static build-up.
