Running two radio systems on separate bands usually means two feeders and two antennas — two tower climbs, two penetrations, twice the hardware. RFI SP0000-1195-11 Crossband Coupler removes that duplication: it merges a low band (DC pass, 0–800 MHz) and a high band (1800–2500 MHz) onto a single line, so one antenna and one feeder serve both, with each system isolated from the other.
Product Features:
- Combines a DC-pass 0–800 MHz path with an 1800–2500 MHz path onto one common port.
- DC pass on the low side — feeds masthead amplifiers or tower-top electronics through the same line.
- 35 W power rating; N female interfaces throughout.
- Passive and RF-transparent: no power, no configuration, nothing to fail in a cabinet.
Application Areas:
- Sharing one antenna and feeder between two band-separated systems.
- Adding a cellular or data service to an existing low-band site without a second feeder.
- Reducing tower loading and penetrations on space-constrained sites.
Selection & Installation Notes:
- Check the band split carefully: this unit separates below 800 MHz from 1800–2500 MHz. Systems inside the same band cannot be crossband-coupled — those need a duplexer or combiner instead, and we stock both.
- The DC-pass path is deliberate. If your low-band system must NOT carry DC, tell us and we will specify a blocked alternative.
- 35 W is the system limit — confirm your combined transmit power before ordering.
