You cannot manage what you cannot measure, and cutting into a feeder to take a measurement is how sites go off air. This RFI SP6927-2310-11 directional coupler gives you a permanent, calibrated window into the line: it taps a precise 10 dB sample of forward power for a meter, monitor or test port while the main path carries on almost untouched. A 10 dB tap is the general-purpose choice — enough signal for a meter or monitor without meaningful through-loss.
Product Features:
- 698-2700 MHz coverage with 10 dB nominal coupling; the same body is available in other coupling values.
- 200 W power rating with ≥20 dB directivity — it distinguishes forward from reflected power, which is the whole point.
- ≤ −150 dBc PIM (3rd order, 2×43 dBm) — quiet enough for carrier and shared digital sites.
- VSWR 1.25:1, 50 Ω, N female interfaces.
- IP65 rated, −30 °C to +60 °C; H 40 x W 18 x L 123 mm, 0.24 kg.
Application Areas:
- Forward and reflected power monitoring on transmit feeders.
- Permanent test ports for site monitoring and commissioning.
- Injecting or sampling signal in DAS and repeater systems.
Selection & Installation Notes:
- Coupling value is the decision: lower dB (5–10) gives a bigger sample for monitoring; higher dB (20–30) protects sensitive equipment on high-power lines.
- Directional means orientation matters — fit it the right way round or you will be measuring reflected power and calling it forward.
- Terminate the coupled port when not in use with a matched load (our SP0000 termination range) rather than leaving it open.
- Other coupling values in this family are available to order — tell us the sample level you need.
