The RFI SW123 1/4 Wave Whip is a rugged and low-profile antenna designed for reliable omnidirectional performance in the 400–430 MHz frequency range. SW120 series are available either pre-tuned to specific bands (380 MHz to 520 MHz) or in the case of the SW120, field tuneable from 400-520 MHz. By the nature of their location, these types of antennas are generally exposed to extreme conditions.
Product Features:
- Omnidirectional ¼ wave antenna providing unity gain for consistent UHF signal coverage.
- Pre-tuned to operate in the 400–430 MHz range.
- Constructed from twisted stainless-steel wire for optimal flexibility and resilience under vibration.
- Encased in a UV-stable TPU radome, ensuring resistance to sunlight, weather, and impact.
- Field-tuneable variant (SW120) supports a broader 400–520 MHz range for adaptable deployments.
- Compatible with standard 5/16†– 26 TPI mounts (MB10 or MB12) and CD90/900 Series elevated feed bases.
Application Areas:
- Vehicle roof mounts for fleet, emergency, and commercial UHF communication systems.
- Industrial or mining machinery requiring robust and flexible antenna solutions.
- Installations exposed to vibration, weather, and mechanical stress where long-lasting durability is critical.
- UHF radio systems requiring quick identification and deployment of pre-tuned antennas.
