Wireless Testing Categories
Drive Testing
Drive testing is the most common type of field testing, which involves driving a specially equipped vehicle through a designated area while collecting data on network performance metrics. The testing equipment is used to measure call quality, signal strength, and data transfer rates. Drive testing is ideal for testing the performance of networks on the move, such as in a moving car or train.
Cluster Drive Test
Assess the performance of wireless communication networks in a specific geographic area (cluster).

Walk Testing
Walk testing is used in areas where network coverage is difficult to obtain by driving or where pedestrian traffic is high. In-Building Testing
