This high-performance, wideband, Log Periodic antenna provides directional coverage over an extremely wideband, offering coverage for applications where many converging technologies may co-exist, including TETRA/ P25/DMR and LTE technologies. This antenna has been designed to be compact and lightweight, being constructed using structural aluminum in a fully welded design, it is suitable for applications from indoor coverage to even the harshest of outdoor environments. The design further includes the use of low PIM materials and construction methods, to deliver industry-leading performance of the classic LPDA design.
The CSA Series arrays are based on the popular SMD dipole antennas. Supplied in “kit†form these antennas are delivered in flatpack packaging to minimise freight and warehousing issues and allow for simplified assembly at time of installation. These Arrays feature the same solid construction as the standard array series. The folded dipoles utilise an internal phasing harness in PTFE based double screened coaxial cable with a polyethylene jacket. The screens themselves are designed and constructed in such a way as to mitigate the occurrence of PIM. These rugged antennas provide not only excellent radiation characteristics but also DC grounding provides the ultimate in lightning resistant antennas, and low static noise.
