By default, the side PTT button is assigned to radio PTT, but it can be pre-assigned as the Talk around PTT button if preferred. In this case, the top grey Control button functions as the radio PTT button. Alternatively, for dynamic communication needs, the top grey Control button can act as a toggle switch. XIC-0.5 (50 cm) interface cableallows the X10DR In-Cab Talkback Microphone to be plugged in series with the XIC from the XCA adaptor connected to the radio.
This field retrofit kit provides an alternative clothing attachment and uses Velcro "hook" on the back of the handset. The kit includes a 5x5cm Velcro "eye" patch to be sown to uniform or safety vest etc. Your X10DR will perform best when worn with the antenna protruding above your shoulder.
